General OB/GYN Services, Convenient Locations
Our general OB/GYN physicians are board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, so patients can feel confident that they are receiving the best care, even for the most routine of appointments and procedures. These physicians provide obstetric and gynecological services at our UC Health Physicians Offices in Clifton and West Chester, with labor and delivery services at UC Health University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Care is given to women in all stages of life and consultations with our other OB/GYN specialists are available if necessary, as well as specialists from all UC Health practices.
Our general OB/GYN team is highly skilled in all benign gynecologic procedures including traditional surgery, minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgery, as well as the latest technologies for abnormal bleeding and sterilization procedures, many of which can be done in our office setting.
UC Health Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians and advanced practice nurses also provide services at community health centers throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s Labor and Delivery services are provided by OB/GYN physicians in a top-rate facility. The entire maternity area has been redesigned and we now offer the latest in both traditional Labor and Delivery suites and birthing suites designed for labor, delivery and recovery−all in one convenient location. We maintain a supportive and encouraging environment, permitting family members to remain right by your side throughout your stay, day or night. As one of only three Level 3 Care Centers in the region, our facility is staffed by our expert physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists and neonatologists from our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Maternal Fetal Medicine – Compassionate Care, Discovery-Driven Medicine
Specializing in the management of high-risk pregnancy and complications of pregnancy, UC Health Maternal Fetal Medicine is a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team of collaborative physicians who provide complete care for women and their babies during pregnancy and beyond. We focus on compassionate continuity of care, from diagnosis of a complication to the birth of a baby, and care of the mother during the postnatal period. Our Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians see patients in various locations and hospitals throughout the Cincinnati region, including University of Cincinnati Medical Center, The Christ Hospital, Mercy Anderson and Mercy Fairfield. They also work in conjunction with the Fetal Care Team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in one of the largest fetal surgery programs in the nation.
Diabetes & Pregnancy
Diabetes can have great risks during pregnancy and the UC Health Diabetes and Pregnancy Program is designed to educate women with diabetes on how to manage their disease in conjunction with their pregnancy. Our experienced team of physicians, nurses, dieticians and social workers are available to work with you to achieve tight blood sugar control before and during the course of your pregnancy. Patients and their families are coached in a supportive environment and watched closely to ensure optimal care for mother and baby. For those who develop gestational diabetes, immediate education is provided after your diagnosis. Together with our maternal fetal medicine specialists, our team helps you gain glucose control as quickly as possible to protect your baby.
Advanced Care for Gynecological Cancer
UC Health Gynecologic Oncology is focused on exceeding patients’ expectations by providing an experience that illustrates quality, consistency and compassion in day-to-day care. Our team of double board-certified gynecologic oncologists is uniquely qualified to provide the discovery-driven cancer treatments – both medical and surgical – and advanced pelvic surgery to give patients the best outcomes possible. Sophisticated Techniques for Urogynecological Disorders
At UC Health, our Female Pelvic and Reconstructive Medicine physicians specialize in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Our physicians are fellowship trained in urogynecology and provide compassionate and comprehensive care to women of all ages with a variety of urogynecological problems. In addition to treating both primary and recurrent utero-vaginal prolapse, she also treats urinary incontinence, female voiding dysfunction (obstructive and non-obstructive) and other disorders of the pelvic floor.
